The monument consists of twin towers flanking a case holding a steel beam from the World Trade Center, a piece of limestone blown off the Pentagon when the plane hit it, and an urn holding artifact soil from the Flight 93 site in Shanksville, PA. Each tower has a plaque mounted on it. One plaque memorializes those who perished that day and the other one is dedicated to emergency responders and those who protect our country every day.
It is located on Mill Road between Routes 11 & 15 and The Old Trail in Hummels Wharf, PA. The GPS address of the fire company is 1869 N. Old Trail, Selinsgrove, PA. 17870.

Tired Angels Plaque: THIS STEEL BEAM FROM THE WORLD TRADE CENTER IS DEDICATED TO THE EMERGENCY PERSONNEL WHO RESPONDED TO THE CALL ON 9/11/01 AND IN MEMORY OF ALL THOSE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES THERE, AT THE PENTAGON, AND ON FLIGHT 93 BY THE HUMMELS WHARF FIRE COMPANY AND THE RESIDENTS OF MONROE TOWNSHIP.
