Woollen Mill Ruins — Traces of a five-storey woollen mill was constructed in 1824. A long raceway funnelled water from the Twenty Mile Creek to a water wheel that powered the milling machinery.
In 1824, George Ball constructed a five story woolen mill 1/4 mile upstream on the west bank of the Twenty Mile Creek, near the Upper Falls. Robert Courley in the "Statistical Account of Upper Canada" Vol 1 1822 described the Twenty Mile Creek in the 1820's.
