Pratt Family Cemetery - Warrensburg, NY - Out of Place Graves on Waymarking.com

There are two Pratt Family Cemeteries along the Schroon River in Warren County. One lies on the east shore in Bolton and the other is located along the west shore in Warrensburg.

Both cemeteries contain members of the same extended family. The Pratt's were primarily sustenance farmers, raising most of what they needed to survive. Sheep ranching was their source of trade to obtain items they didn't raise themselves.

This cemetery is the Warrensburg one. I put it in this waymark category because it is located along a road, between trees, in the middle of nowhere. Nothing lets us think that there will be a cemetery here. And only Pratt Family members are here. There are 8 graves. The oldest is Cyrene Pratt, born in 1832 and dead in 1860.
