This building that holds the Miner County Rural Life Museum used to be Koehn's Hardware, owned by Don and Elmer Koehn.
It is located on Main Street and has been in existance for about 10 years.
Private showings are available if you call the curator, Phyllis. It is only open certain times so make sure you call before coming to visit.
The museum is a typical history museum with various displays of geology, Native Americans artifacts, homesteading items, railroad memoribelia, farming equipment, government items used in Miner County, education, electricity, the Great Depression, World Wars, business development, and more.
