The building of the Tribunal Judicial de Faro is located in one of the main streets of the town, obviously built during the 60's in Estado Novo architecture. This style is strongly influenced by the Italian fascist style, and it was widely used in Portugal between the end of the Second World War and the early 70's, specially in public buildings.
Update: built between 1960 and 1964 following a project of the architect Raúl Rodrigues Lima and decorative elements made by António Duarte.
