For over 70 years, Rio Vista Golf Course has provided quality, affordable golf for the public. Located in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada, our hidden gem has slowly matured into one of the finest public golf courses in the Niagara Peninsula. Originally opened in 1932, Rio Vista was designed by famed Canadian golf course architect Stanley Thompson.

A par 36, Rio Vista may visually look easy but attaining par is no easy task. Manicured beautifully from tee to green, players are tested from start to finish. Frenchman's Creek meanders through the golf course and comes into play on numerous holes. The difficulty at Rio Vista lies within the small size of the greens. Accurate approaches are a must to score well. The course laid out over gentle sloping terrain provides an enjoyable walk for your round.

Rio Vista Golf Course is an excellent location to hold any golf tournaments, special engagements, corporate outings or fundraisers and we can provide the needed facilities to make your day an enjoyable and memorable one. The clubhouse has been renovated to provide you with a large screen T.V., an extensive menu, and fully licensed bar and patio in a warm environment overlooking the golf course through our large pane windows. Tournaments can also be booked and a full catered menu can be provided to help us make your tournament preparations easy and enjoyable.

Thinking of membership? We provide numerous options for membership. Leagues, club events, handicapping, club storage, golf carts, practice green and sand trap, driving range net, and beverage cart are just some of the amenities offered at Rio Vista.

Rio Vista is very proud of our ever popular junior program. We have made it our mandate to provide excellent junior instruction and affordable golf for young people in our community. Our junior program has been very successful, developing many Canadian P.G.A. professionals who have assumed roles in the Niagara Region's golf industry. Our goal is to provide a fun program with safety as our number one concern.
