Auf einem breiten Forstweg gelangt man schließlich zum Schwedenstein. Auf beiden Seiten der Anhöhe sind die Spuren des Erzbergbaus aus dem 18. Jahrhundert zu sehen. Ein kleiner Stollen und ein angrenzender Tagebau sind am Westhang des Schwedensteins zu sehen. Dieser Stollen ist ca. 20 Meter lang und sehr eng. Nach ca. 8 Metern verläuft die bis dahin gerade Strecke in einem Winkel von ca. 30° nach links weiter und hört an einem Luftschacht unvermittelt auf.
Der Stollen kann jederzeit, aber nicht im Winter, betreten werden.
