The armillary sundial can be viewed from the distance along the pathway. It looks like a good example of an armillary sundial. The hour lines are on the broad equatorial ring. There is also a narrow ecliptic ring at 23.5 degrees from the equatorial ring, prime meridian ring in the north south plane and a prime vertical ring in the east west plane. The ecliptic ring is fixed so this armillary acts only as a sundial.
