Windson castle is the best known castle in the UK and perhaps the world. It is an active castle, the official residence of the Queen. Windsor has been a fortress and Royal residence for over 900 years.
St George's Chapel is the Royal Chapel, home of the Order of the Garter where the Knights of the Order of the Garter meet every year. St George's is an great gothic church and where the Royals are married, and buried. The Lady Chapel at the east end of St George's is the Albert Memorial.
The sundial on the lady chapel is a classic vertical declining sundial carved into the south face, declining about 14°. This is a morning dial, showing more morning hours than afternoon.
Sundial Type: Vertical - Wall mounted dial plate
