There are numerous war memorials near the bomber command museum which is found on the northeast corner of the park. There are two jets on pedestals that remind us of the equipment used during the Korean conflict and in peacekeeping. There is a memorial wall with the names of Albertan's who sacrificed their lives in the bomber command of World War II. The extent of personal and family sacrifice is evident by the numerous names contained within the monument.
