The Shoshone Ridge interpretive site is located along Mont. Hwy. 324 overlooking the Horse Prairie Valley through which Lewis & Clark passed on the way to Lemhi Pass. There are six interpretive signs at the site with information on Lewis & Clark and Lemhi Pass, the Nez Perce War, the geology, and the view. The site also serves parking area for vehicles which are too long to go over Lemhi Pass.
