Designed by George W. Northwood and built in 1924-1925 by J.A. Tremblay, this brick two-storey retangular building was used by the Bank of Toronto until 1942. It was purchased by the Town of Transcona to be used a municipal office which opened in 1943. Following amalgamation of Transcona into the unified City of Winnipeg in 1972, these municipal office were evenyually no longer needed. The building was vacant for quite a while but is now the Transcona Historical Museum. (visit link)
