CS: Libenska sokolovna byla postavena v secesnim slohu v letech 1909-10 architektem Emilem Kralickem, ktery je rovnez autorem vedle stojiciho kostela svateho Vojtecha. Stavba slouzila jako sidlo Telovychovne jednoty Sokol Praha - Liben, ktera byla zalozena jiz v roce 1884. Jednota Sokol byla zakazana behem obdobi druhe svetove valky (1939-45) a znovu v obdobi komunismu (1948-89). V roce 1990 byl mistni spolek obnoven a o rok pozdeji mu byla navracena libenska sokolovna, ktera od te doby opet slouzi svemu puvodnimu ucelu.

EN: Liben Sokol Center was built in Art Nouveau style during 1909-10 by the architect Emil Kralicek who is also the author of the nearby Church of Saint Adalbert. The building served as the residence of TJ Sokol Praha - Liben which was founded in 1884. The Sokol association was prohibited during World War II (1939-45) and also during the era of communism (1948-89). In 1990 the local Sokol association was restored and one year later they regained the Sokol Center which serves to its original purpose until now.
