The Little Stony National Recreation Trail winds up the deep rock-strewn gorge carved by the cascading water. This bridge is the first reached after 90 minutes hiking from the parking lot at the Hanging Rock Recreation Area. Sturdy construction to withstand spring flooding, although was replaced after winter 2009 storm damage.
