George F. Hauer was born December 9, 1720 in Baden, Germany. He immigrated to America in 1737. In the Revolutionary War he served in the Northampton Militia under Colonel Seigfried and was at the following battles Assumpick, Brandywine, Princeton, Germantown, White Marsh, Monmouth and Red Bank.
