This memorial to those from Cleburne County that served their county is in front of the Cleburne County Courthouse. The courthouse was built in 1907 in the Classical Revival style.
The memorial is a small, simple, rough hewn stone that sites on a concrete pad in the lawn in front of the courthouse. The monument is located next to a black iron picket fence, is surrounded by gravel and near a large tree.
The monument is unsigned and undated.

Description of Memorial: This is a simple rough hewn stone that sites on a concrete pad. There is a bronze plaque on each side on the stone. One plaque is dedicated to all those from Cleburne County that served while the second one is dedicateds to those from Cleburne County that lost the lives in the defense of their country. The monument is unsigned and undated.
