Conrad Kreider was born in Germany on September 7, 1736. Prior to the Revolutionary War he had worked as an inn keeper in Allen Township, Northampton County. During the Revolutionary War he served as a wagon master in the Continental forces. He died at age 92 on September 7, 1828. He is buried at the Zion UCC Stone Church Cemetery with several other veterans of the Revolutionary War.
