Officially named "Berkeley's Big People", this artwork consists of two 30-foot tall sculptures, one at each end of a bicycle/pedestrian bridge. They were unveiled in October, 2008.

Berkeley Big People is two public sculptures by artist Scott Donahue. They celebrates the culture and community of the city. Two twelve foot tall clusters of figures made of fiberglass, steel and bronze are each mounted on a tall four legged platform. There is one sculpture at each end of the
pedestrian overpass over I-80 in Berkeley.
The sculpture at the east end of the overpass represents a violin player, a scientist holding a DNA model, a thinker, two activists, and the University of California Campanile.
The sculpture at the west end of the overpass depicts a nature-oriented group: a bird watcher, kite flier, jogger, boater, and a dog catching a Frisbee.
Coordinates are given for the west sculpture of the pair. The sculpture has drawn mixed reviews from the community.
