The Pinball Museum, in the heart of Seattle's International District, isn't just some staid, static place where you stare longingly at old machines from a respectable distance. No, this place is interactive -- which means that for the price of admission you're free to play as much pinball as your poor fingers can stand.

It's a small space, with fifty-odd machines available to play, so when there are more than a few people inside the noise can get kinda overwhelming. But that shouldn't scare you off. The museum also sells beer, soft drinks and chips, should you find yourself in need of sustenance.

Families with young children, please note: you must be at least 7 years old to enter and play games in the Pinball Museum. Pets are not allowed.

Street parking can be iffy in the ID, so if you're driving in, give yourself a little extra time to find a spot.

Closed Tuesday and Wednesday; open noon to 6 pm Thursday through Monday. Final entry one hour before closing. Closed on most major holidays.
