These old milk wagons used to be everywhere; I can remember seeing them in central Nova Scotia in the early 1960's. Nowadays, it's rare to see any sort of house delivery, whether it be dairy, or even the old tinkers that used to travel our Ottawa neighbourhood until the early 1970's.
Reid's Dairy products are still delivered to your door, but by a contractor, and only twice a week, and definitely not pulled behind horses like Joe!
