Taconite Harbor Boat Launch and Safe Harbor near Schroeder, MN.
This boat launch is concrete, has rest rooms and has plenty of parking. Located on Lake Superior the area abounds in scenic beauty.
The launch is well marked, just off of Highway 61, the North Shore Scenic Byway. On the paved road to the launch, you will pass the now abandoned, once thriving town of Taconite Harbor and a mining equipment display.
