This truss bridge, now over 100 years old, is the Finlay Bridge. The Finaly Bridge was named after Alberta's first Minister of Agriculture. The bridge crosses the South Saskatchewan River in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

The Finlay Bridge was completed and officially opened on May 14, 1908. The 227 metre long bridge crosses the South Saskatchewan River near city hall.

The bridge is 10 metres or 34 feet wide and spans the river at 227 metres or 910 feet. The bridge was officially opened in honour of William T. Finlay, Albertas first Minister of Agriculture. The bridge was engineered by Joseph A. Carbert.
