15 story high rise office building in a small northeastern Oklahoma town. As Phillips Petroleum Company evolved and grew in the late 1940's the need for additional office space was pressing. The Adams Building was built in 1950 and named for K.S. "Boots" Adams, the successor to company founder Frank Phillips as President, and then Chairman of the Board. Over sixty years later it is still a key building in the company's Bartlesville operations.
