Owned by Manitoba Hydro, it is one of the oldest Generating stations in Manitoba. Construction was started in 1914 but was not completed until 1928 due to WWI. It has 6 turbines that produce a generating capacity of 136 MW and can produce 900 million kW-hr of electricity per year! It's transmission lines send electricity to the City of Winnipeg , Selkirk and Pine Falls Manitoba.
