Mt Albion Cemetery is a Victorian Garden Cemetery established in 1843 constructed on glacial deposits. Early workers created leveled terraces using picks and shovels, hauling dirt with oxen and horses. 25 miles of roads and paths wind among the 22,000 residents over hills and valleys. The eastern half of the cemetery is a wonderful collection of pre-1900 monuments.
