Celtics - Boston, MA - Artistically Decorated Utility Boxes on Waymarking.com

In Boston, where New Chardon Street meets Beverly Street and entranceways to I-93, is a utility box, painted with the Boston Celtics design on the side facing the street and stars and circular designs around it.

The box is located on the nortwest side of the intersection, near the corner. The area around it is open, with a brick patio to the west.

The side facing the street, as mentioned before, has the logo of the Boston Celtics. Colorful circles 'bubble up' around it, and stars in a blue field are painted to the right. On the rear side is a basketball surrounded by both angular and circular patterns in bright colors. The sides and top are transitions between these sides.

There is text on the box. On the upper left part of the rear side is the text, "City of Boston Mayor Thomas Menino." On the bottom of the right side (facing from the street) is the text, "Howie Green hgd.com".
