In the small village of Pico Alto, there is an unexpected walking trail. It starts near the former primary school (now renovated and used as an interpretative center, although closed most of the time). It's about 1 km long, but not circular, so it makes 2 km.
Along the way there are 8 great panels explaining the nature in the area... insects, flowers, etc.
There is parking available right on the trailhead.
