This is most definitely not your chain store ice cream parlor. This is their original location, and while they now have a second store in nearby Lufkin, nothing has changed. A 1950's style decor, limited hours and interesting flavors, with a new flavor monthly.
They have the usual tasty treats, cones, sundaes, banana splits and more. They also bake cakes to order, but the topper is their Mount Shuky-Deez, three giant scoops of ice cream atop three brownies, garnished with two bananas, whipped cream and a cherry on top. It's what going out for ice cream was like before the advent of the bland, boring two dozen flavors stores.
