Long Description:
Swansea was the first city in Wales to feature in its own version of the board game Monopoly. The Swansea edition of Monopoly features 33 local landmarks.

Cwmdonkin Park a beautiful park with unique features and various references to Dylan Thomas, including a memorial stone which has lines from "Fern Hill".

"The birthplace of Dylan Thomas is only a stone's throw away in Cwmdonkin drive. The park proved to be an important source of inspiration to the poet and featured in his work, including the radio broadcasts Return Journey and Reminiscences of Childhood, and, most famously, the poem 'The hunchback in the park'.

Dylan Thomas was born in 5 Cwm Donkin Drive, in 1914 and wrote and conceived two thirds of his work here. Today Dylan’s birthplace has been lovingly restored to its Edwardian splendour and is open to visitors." Source: (visit link)
