Welcome to the Moore Park Nature Trail!

The Moore Park Nature Trail starts between the tennis courts and the Gingerbread House in Moore Park. There is ample parking either next to the tennis courts or next to the Gingerbread House. There is a large map of Moore Park with directions to a few different trails you can take from this trailhead.

This nature trail is perfect for walking, hiking and mountain biking. This trail does NOT allow any motorized vehicles whatsoever. This nature trail used to allow automobiles that led to an overlook over Klamath Lake many years ago but hasn't allowed vehicles along the paved part of the trail for at least 40 years.

The following link is to a birdwatchers website that highlights some of the birds you may come across on your hike as well as a map of this particular nature trail along with a couple of other nearby nature trails that you can walk/hike on: Klamath Birding Trails

Parking: N 42° 13.902 W 121° 48.565

Dogs are NOT allowed in Moore Park so it is assumed that no dogs are allowed on the Nature Trail as well. Horseback riding is not allowed on this trail for the reason that the trail is not wide enough to handle large animals and hikers together.

Trail type: Trail is partly paved and part dirt.
