Long Description:
Route 55, Songefjellet, is one of eighteen "National Tourist Routes" (Nasjonale turistveger). It starts in the beautiful village of Lom, goes through a valley and a plateau with views of Jotunheimen, Norvegian highest mountain range, and descends down at the western shore in Sognefjord.
In the center of Lom there is a large schematic map of the route and some information and maps about the National Tourist Routes program.
