This was the last operational CF104 Starfighter in the Canadian Forces fleet. It was built in 1963 and saw service with 417 Sqn at RCAF Stn (later CFB) Cold Lake, AB.
It was transferred to 448 Test Sqn (later Aerospace Engineering and Test Flight) where it remained until October, 1983.
The aircraft was ferried to AMDU, CFB Trenton and placed in storage.
It was transferred to the RCAF Memorial Museum, now the National Air Force Museum of Canada, in 1995.
