The Mesa Arizona Temple is the seventh operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is the first of five LDS temples built or planned in Arizona.

This is one of the first temples to be constructed by the Church of Latter Day Saints. Plans to build a temple in Mesa, Arizona were announced in October 1919 and a 20-acre site selected in 1921. The temple was completed in 1927. At the time it was the largest of its kind outside of Utah.
