The fair ground is situated on two levels. The lower level is shaded and by the lake. Most of the livestock barns are located there. On the upper level are the horse barns and grandstands.
The fair has grandstand entertainment each year. In 2012 it was mud runs, rodeo, and a band. In years past there have been demo derbys (not so good in 2011 - lots of spectators but only 4 cars total and one wouldn't run) and this year a Renaissance fair in mid June 2012. Attendance to the fair was light on the time I visited but it was only one visit in 2011.
