From street level it is hard to estimate how tall this sculpture is. It is in the region of about fifteen feet tall with a diameter at the base of about three feet. The detail is very good with a ladder leading up to the entrance to the lighthouse, windows, the lantern and railings around the lantern although they appear to be falling away towards the rear on the left side. An additionla feature, that I had not noticed until looking at the photogrphs, are the masts and rigging of sailing ships around the base of the lighthouse.

The whole piece is carved from Portland stone and would benfit from a cleaning.
