The mural is located on the Bradford Visitor Information Centre
and depicts several city sites and the diversity of its residents. According to a plaque beneath the mural, it was created in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the city of Bradford. The plaque reads:

Bradford became a municipal borough in 1847, and received its charter as a city in 1897."
