[english:] When the railroad between St. Ingbert and Niederwürzbach was built, the people from Oberwürzbach protested against with the argument, "we still prefere to transport our goods with our mules".
In remembrance of the historical story, in 2001 this nice mule fountain in the middle of the village of Oberwürzbach was built.

[deutsch:] Als man zwischen St. Ingbert und Niederwürzbach eine Eisenbahnlinie baute, wehrten sich die Oberwürzbacher gegen diesen Bau, da sie ihre Transporte nach wie vor lieber mit ihren Mauleseln durchführen wollten.
Als Erinnerung an diese historische Geschichte, wurde 2001 dieser schöne Brunnen in der Dorfmitte von Oberwürzbach aufgestellt.
