Church Path Oak is an old tree which has died, its wood now home to the insects and creatures. The tree was one of Salcey Forest's 'druid' oaks. It fell in 1995 and was about 400 years old.

The plaque with the tree reads:

'Salcey Forest
Church Path Oak
William Henry
The Sixth Duke of Grafton was
accustomed to Rest under this
tree on His way to and from
Piddington Church.'
