JOSEPH C. CAPPELLA MEMORIAL PARK - Static Aircraft Displays on Waymarking.com

The old elemetry school and forgoten cemetary where in disrepair! So the Viet Nam vets decide to set up shop here! And make area into a memorial but land and building was in dispute. A local attorny K.Watkins got it all done and it was donated to vets!!!
They made a beautiful memorial and picnic pavillion/with meeting hall!
They asked Pa. National Guard for static display pieces!
They came through BIG TIME with a Tank & UH-1 (huey) Bell Helicopter!
A local coal company donated the 3ton chunk of coal and plaque for part of memorial!

And for you GEOCACHER'S;The Tank has a geocache on it called "By Land or Air"
