Note that the listed coordinates are taken while standing between the two sandstone markers. Notably, the earliest marked grave here is that of William Garrison, who lived from 1810 to 1870. His original grave marker has gone missing, but there is a 2.0 upgrade in the form of a modern, flat, red granite headstone. His burial here is mentioned on a Texas Historical Marker at the front of the cemetery.

With Mr. Garrison is his wife, Esther, and she, too, has an updated headstone, with her name and "1823 - 1899." However, her original stone is still here, and it says:

Easter
Garrison.
Mar. 1823

If there was anything else, time and the elements have since worn the lower section of the stone smooth.

Also in the plot is a marker for Moses Garrison. His stone is broken near the top, but the two pieces are still together. The name "Moses" is a little difficult to read, but the inscription is:

Moses
Garrison

Died June
The First
1880

Moses is a bit of an enigma: It is unclear as to his relationship with the others. Findagrave indicates that William and Esther Garrison had a "Moses F" among their children, but the listing on Findagrave for Moses F. Garrison (this burial) says that he was the son of Elijah Kelley and Nancy Ann Garrison.
