The tower stands on a hill at the Dubecko village, about seven kilometers east from Turnov and about 15 km west from Semily.
The tower originally had to be only a telecommunication tower, but the inhabitants of adjacent villages wish telecommunications operator expanded original construction plan. The metal tower got a spiral staircase with an observation platform. There is a beautiful view of the landscape of the Bohemian Paradise and also to the north to the Jizery Mountains.

Vež stojí na kopci Dubecko u stejnojmenné osady, cca 7km východne od Turnova a cca 15km západne od Semil.
Na míste rozhledny mela puvodne stát pouze telekomunikacní vež, ale na prání obyvatel prilehlých vesnic telekomunikacní operátor rozšíril stavební plán kovové veže o tocité schodište s vyhlídkovou plošinou. Z rozhledny je krásný rozhled na krajinu Ceského ráje i na sever k Jizerským horám.
