Beautiful stone Courthouse that was erected in 1942 by Ellis County and the Work Projects Administration. Is surrounded by shade trees at one corner of the lawn is a pink granite memorial to those Ellis County residents who made the supreme sacrifice while in the service of their country. It is currently still being used as the Ellis County Courthouse.
