Römerhof is a typical Italian restaurant with a broad variety of meals including about 40 different types of pizza, lots of different pasta and a special focus on Italian seafood. In summer there is a nice garden in the back of the building. It is not cheap, but the quality is high.
It is not a typical celebrity place, but it is located in the center of the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Augusta Raurica, one of the largest and best preserved ones north of the Alps. And it is the only restaurant around. So when a celebrity is going to visit this tourist attraction and feels hungry, there is no alternative. The owner of this place has taken the chance and collected a large number of pictures of him posing with a star and many autographs. The largest on the wall currently are the pictures with Xherdan Shaqiri (please note that he misspelled the name with a K instead of a Q!). The pictures in the frame above it are with tennis star Roger Federer a few years back and there are other pictures and autographs around with more sports and music stars.
