This is a stylized stone memorial to Gerald F. Bourdon, erected by his son Marc in 2008.
Marc is an accomplished artist and sculptor, and chose to honour his father's memory with this memorial.
The memorial features an engraved, artistic fish with various bubbles emanating from it. The memorial is set in an engraved granite base, with blue "waves" adorning it.
The memorial is located in the courtyard of the the Picton Marine Maritime archives building, near an Ontario Historical Plaque.
