This statue of Blaster is found in the CSM Geology Museum that is free to the public. He is found on the first floor of the museum at the entrance to the multi-media working mine tour and florescent rock display. I have uploaded a tour of the min at (
visit link) , though it is not the best quality. More information about the museum may be found at (

The burro was critical to the success of the prospector. "Beginning with Native American use of burros to haul firewood into Pueblo villages, prospectors used burros to carry their vital mining supplies and grub. Once a vein proved profitable, whole armies of burros brought in materials to build boardinghouses, tramhouses, and cook shacks. Burros also pulled the ore carts deep into the mines and some donkeys almost went blind because they stayed in the dark so long." (from (
visit link) which is a great read! )
