This turtle-shaped building was the former Native American Cultural Center. The building was inspired by the Iroquois creation story of Earth's formation on the back of a turtle. The building is currently for sale.
The geodesic dome covers the main auditorium area of the building. A Native American bird symbol made of glass is incorporated in the dome and the sunlight reflects the design onto the auditorium floor. This structure was built in 1981, and is 67,000 square feet.
The building is just across the street from the American Falls and is currently for sale.
