Trädgårdsföreningen is one of the best preserved 19th century parks in Europe, and is honoured by the Michelin Guide.
The Garden Society has plenty to offer for all the family - daily walks in the park, concerts, traditional festivities and theatre for the youngest members of the family.
With some 2,000 roses of 1,400 different species and cultivars, the Rose gardens can compete with any in the world. They contain roses from all over the world, arranged systematically in groups according to historical development and description. The roses are maintained organically.
The best time of the year to study roses in bloom is generally in the beginning of July, and at the second major blooming at the end of August.
