Long Description:
This mosaic represents the symbol for Riverfest plus the date 2001. It is mounted on a vertical concrete slab that forms the drop of an alcove. The ceramic pieces are in the colors of red, white and blue. The letters for the word Riverfest are in yellow. Nearby is a second mosaic, which is the US flag.
Riverfest is a celebration of visual and performing arts that is held annually over Memorial Day weekend on the banks of the Arkansas River in both Little Rock and North Little Rock.
