This is a very nice small fountain located at the so-called 'Schulplätzel' in Speyer, Germany, Rheinland-Pfalz. It is called 'Einhornbrunnen' which means 'Unicorn Fountain'.
The fountain itself is made of red sandstone.
There's the head of an unicorn on top of the fountain which is made of bronze. A second head of a lion is used for the water to drain out of the water trough.
There's no plaque with details. So the year of creation is unknown.
The fountain was created by Gernot Rumpf who designed several other fountains too.
