Today there is a modern motorway just a few hundred meters from the place. But when people actually lived there, the most deep loneliness would be a part of their lives.
It's a group of country houses, not even a hamlet. 3 or 4 abandoned homes, more than one hundred years old. The closest town would be Loulé, the place where probably the people who once lived here sold their vegetables and fruits.
Impossible to find data about the place. As so many others they just got deserted as youngsters moved to the closest villages or towns and the old people gradually died or, eventually, also moved out to live their last years with their sons and daughters.
